What is a Missionary?

Like the Apostles, our job is to invite others to come unto Christ through faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.

We are representatives of Jesus Christ, we act in His name and have his authority to teach principles of the Gospel that are necessary for us to return to live with God again.

We invite people to exercise their faith through making commitments like reading scripture, praying, and attending their church meetings.

We invite people to repent, which simply means to change their lives. We do this by inviting them to keep Gods commandments.

We then invite people to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by someone holding the priesthood authority of God. That baptism will be accompanied by a reception of the Holy Ghost, to cleanse, lead and guide us.

Then it is up to us to endure to the end, to continue reading, studying, praying, keeping the commandments, going to church, and focusing our sights on the Temple of the Lord.

How do we do this?

We share a message about Jesus Christ, and the calling of a modern-day prophet who gave us more scripture that testifies of Jesus Christ. We stop people on the streets, we knock on peoples doors, we visit the friends and neighbors of members of our church, and we talk to people wherever we go. This message is really important to us, because its made us so happy. And this is all we wish for you, is to be happy.
